Here are thirty things about me.
1. I was supposed to be named “Christine Love.” (Yuck!)
2. My birthday is hard to forget since it falls on the first day of Simbang Gabi.
3. I have the same birthday as my maternal grandfather.
4. I hit the first boy who kissed me (on the cheek lang ha!) with Carolyn Keene’s Nancy Drew – Clue of the Whistling Bagpipes (I was in Grade 2 then) on the head! Good thing he didn’t faint!
5. I love the color yellow.
6. I got a “Math Wizard” award in Grade 6.
7. When I was growing up, I wanted to be a doctor.
8. I got sick in grade school with a weird disease – if I didn’t tilt my head, I would see double!
9. I was a teacher’s pet in grade school. How my classmates must have hated me!
10. I burned my bangs and my thumb one New Year’s day when I removed the “pulbura” from a fire cracker and lighted it with a match. Haha! Curiosity burned my hair!
11. My left ear had to be operated on when I was in high school because it got infected when water got into it after I did the Nestea plunge in a river. (Remember the commercial? Do the Nestea plunge!)
12. I love cleaning the bathroom.
13. But I hate fixing my cabinet! (My mom used to do this for me even when I was in high school na. Hehe!)
14. I always have a runny nose (thanks to allergic rhinitis!).
15. I love the music of Indigo Girls. (I was influenced by an ex-boyfriend.)
16. I used to watch a movie every week. (This was back in college when the only form of entertainment I could afford was watching a movie.)
17. I used to carry an ID stating my age because I looked very young and I was often denied entrance to R18 movies.
18. My cure for a bad mood is lagaw (going places)!
19. Although I live in Bacolod, I can find my way pretty well in the jungle of Manila, having stayed there for college and graduate school.
20. I love going to ukay-ukay stores.
21. I prefer McDo to Jollibee.
22. I’m a shoes and bags girl. (Isn’t everyone?)
23. I used to save my allowance to buy shoes at least once a month!
24. But I learned to control my shoe shopping sprees when I became a mom.
25. I played the piano when I was in high school, but I don’t know how to play anymore. 
No practice na gid!
26. I don’t like to drink milk. (I guess this is the reason why I didn’t grow tall!)
27. I am a daddy’s girl.
28. During cheering competitions in high school, I was always the girl at the top of the pyramid because I’m one of the shortest (and lightest) in our batch. (Pays to be petite!)
29. I’m so talkative in class that I got a “Needs Improvement” mark for “Listens attentively” when I was in Kindergarten. (Yup, my mom kept my report card!)
30. I will fight tooth and nail for my loved-ones.

Looking in Google for the word ‘Piyaya’I came to your website.
Recently one of the Filipinas in belgium brought some flat cookies ‘Piyaya’ from Negros Occ.
They were reaaly good and I thought, as my wife is born in negros to surprise her with home made Piyaya. Unfortunately after 1 day surfing on the net I still couldn’t find any recipe. Could you help me please.

HI! I wish to obtain information on how to do addition and subtraction using fingers on both hands. I once saw a “math tinik” show, where the teacher demonstrated to the viewers how to go about using both hands to count to 99.
Designated numbers for right fingers are from 1-9 and designated numbers for left fingers are from 10 – 90. My question now is how do you use this knowledge to add or subtract numbers from 1-99? I wonder if you know what I’m talking about.
